A sporadic concatenation of events blurring the boundaries between the several minds of artists and writers imprisoned either literally or figuratively, Wes Anderson's latest film The French Dispatch (2021) surely packs a punch.

With homages to journalism, French New Wave techniques, and an undeniably renowned cast of familiar faces, I tip my hat to this dialogue-heavy masterpiece.
Being my first film in an actual theater since the pandemic, this film will have quite the staying power, as it'll be hard to top moving forward.
